I officially <3 the Genius function in iTunes 8. I had it base a playlist on an Eve 6 song, and its the BEST PLAYLIST EVAR.

Yeah, when it works it's wonderful, I have too many songs that it can't figure out.

I haven't tinkered much with the Genius function. What's it like?

Well, if you've used Pandora at all, it's like Pandora for your iTunes library. It'll take a song, and (theoretically) identify a bunch of other songs you own that are similar to that song. It'll also give you a bunch of suggestions for songs that are available in the store similar to that song.

If that makes sense.

So, I wound up with an acoustic/light rock-ish playlist of PURE AWESOME.

And you can put that playlist on your iPhone and listen to it whenever you want!
