Yay, I'm all official!

My name is on the list of participants for the 2006 Knitting Olympics. I'm Jess F. who is making Mariah. Yay for hoodies!

Also, yay for buying (most of) the yarn last week during AC Moore's knitting party, which means that all yarn and "yarn accessories" were 25% off! I also got the Boye Needlemaster set, which is truly awesome. It is also (at AC Moore) regularly $69.99. <3 sales to death.

Awesome! Good luck going for the gold! I saw info about this on Craftster. But being yarn and money short I didn't sign up. I've heard that the Boye set isn't bad, but it just has a tendency to unscrew. I have a Denise set (same makers as the Boye).

I was interested in the Boye for two reasons- 1: it has more sizes- smaller sizes- than the Denise set and 2: AC Moore doesn't carry the Denise. >_>

that is a definite advantage of the set!

Denises you have to special order, but you don't get as many fun sizes and cables.

I say if you got them at a 25% discount though that's awesome!
